One of Jim's customers, the United States Postal Service, hired Jim several hundred times within a 5 year period. This was the world's largest speaking contract at that time. He addressed over 85,000 window clerks and managers in 40 states and 180 cities. His presentations and seminars were rated a 4.98 out of a possible 5.0. Before Jim's principles were incorporated in their system, the USPS operated in the "red" for 224 straight years. They operated in the "black" as a profit during this 5 year period. Jim helped turn the company around. His accomplishments were noted in the "Fortune 500" magazine and by their CEO. The USPS utilized 40,000 copies of Jim's training videos to help change the way they do business.
 Jim has trained several thousand appointed and elected Tennessee Government Officials in the past 15 years through the University Of Tennessee Center For Government Training. He got rave reviews every single time. He learned his speaking skills in Toastmasters International. With this world-wide organization, Jim won over 150 speech contests. He won the "Toastmaster Of The year" award for 8 years and went to the World Semifinals for 4 different years. He also earned Toastmaster's highest award, "The Distinguished Toastmaster." He is now in Toastmasters International Hall Of Fame headquartered in Santa Ana, California. Jim can turn a "tough" or even "hostile" audience around with his CARING ATTITUDE and his ability to ENTERTAIN and MAKE THEM LAUGH! He says there is no other way to do it. Jim is known in the professional speaking and training industry as a speaker who is on target with what the customer wants and needs. Jim was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Management & Marketing. Jim is divorced with one daughter named Carolyn and a grandaughter named Elizabeth. They live in Georgia. Almost six years ago Jim contracted stomach cancer. Two doctors, a month after surgery in which they took 80% of his stomach, advised Jim that he had 15% chance of living only 3 months and no chance to live a year. Now Jim's oncologist advises him that he is completely cured of cancer. It was not coming back. Jim shares his story of recovery with his clients. He credits faith in the Lord, a chosen incredible attitude about life, a sense of humor and great plans for the future he is determined to accomplish. He over came overwhelming odds.
